Alex Martinez

Vice President of Development

Alex Martinez is the Vice President of Development at GCSE and has over 15 years of experience in the solar industry with roles and responsibilities ranging from greenfield development to project management and asset operations. He manages project development, pre-construction, and engineering activities for GSCE’s project pipeline. Prior to joining GSCE, Alex was involved in the development, construction, operations, or financing of over 2.5 GW of solar (PV) and 1.5 GW of battery energy storage (BESS) facilities, including the 670 MW of PV and 360 MW of BESS assets constructed as part of Westlands Solar Park. Alex holds a B.A. in Environmental Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
